One of her many fans has said of Holly’s art that “it is as vibrant and full of joy and laughter as she is.”  Vivid colors, bold brush strokes and  whimsical subjects fill her canvases with delightful and unique images, truly reflective of her personality. 

Holly finds suitable subjects in whimsical images, captured in what she calls her “funky cartoon style.“  Her work can be described as expressionistic, surreal, post-modern; yet, in truth it defies being pigeon-holed.  It is as unique as its creator.

Working in a variety of media, Holly’s art ranges from acrylic on canvas to wall-sized murals.  She’s been featured in numerous articles, most recently in the August, 2009 edition of Portico magazine.  Her work has been displayed in Southern galleries from Baton Rouge to Key West.

As a self-taught artist, and self-confessed “adventurer,” Holly draws inspiration from such exotic experiences as living and working in Key West, and serving as a chef on a luxury yacht in the Caribbean. 

Whether working on a commissioned piece, or a project of her own, Holly strives to share in each creation a sense of the happiness, joy and beauty she finds in painting.
